About Us

Serving the local community since 2011.

With 20 years of experience as a pharmacist, there are hardly any medical questions that Iwona Machaczka hasn’t been asked or doesn’t have an answer for. The polish national came to Ireland in 2005 to put down roots and rear a family.

In 2011 the mother of two decided to open up her own pharmacy and in an Irish-Polish partnership with local businessman Alan Costello, The Strand Pharmacy was born.

Ever since the doors were opened the Strand Pharmacy had provided an important community service to the neighbourhood. Her local and multination team always greets customers with a smile and offers the best service anyone could ask for.
